For our client we are looking for an Electrical & System Engineer
Job description:
The main focus in this assignment will be development of new functions/updated functions for our surface and
exploration drill rigs to improve functionality , performance and availability. In this assignment the consultant will be
involved in continues production improvements and new product development activities to develop new functions for
the drill-rigs. This will be done by analyzing requirements from different stakeholders and together with engineers on
the hydraulics, air and mechanical departments design a complete system solution including both electric, hydraulic,
pneumatic and mechanical parts as well as SW in our internally developed control system. Major part of the work will
be to write requirement specifications for the SW in the control system based on the stakeholder requirements as well
as requirements from the complete system design, i.e. type and characteristics of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical
components and their assembly. Work also includes defining requirements in conjunction with SW engineers and
supporting them during the implementation phase. Support during system and function test will also be included in the
assignment, with writing test-specifications as well as reports as the main work.
Required skills:
Good knowledge in functional development and algorithm development.
Good knowledge in analysing requirements, writing requirements and requirement handling.
Good knowledge in the field of mechatronics or automation.
Good command of Swedish and English, verbal and written.
Preferred skills:
Good knowledge of mobile control systems, vehicle electronics and sensors.
Knowledge of CAN bus, J1939 and CAN Open
Knowledge of Ethernet communication bus
Knowledge of work with functional safety/Safe machine control systems, for example ISO 13849
Experience of working in PLM systems
Knowledge of CAD design tools for electrical schematics, e.g. AutoCAD Electrical.
